This research project would not be possible without the participation of many people: university and government researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, technicians, and collaborators from the private and municipal sectors. Tracking of a large number of individually marked birds has been possible through the active participation of a network of more than 300 volunteer observers located throughout eastern Canada and USA. Their contribution is essential because we could never cover a so large area by ourselves. New observers are regularly recruited through informative programs such as SciStarter and CitizenScience that contribute to promote our study. We are very thankful to all these people.
